Job Description

We are looking for a strategic, data-obsessed Demand Generation Manager to architect and scale our growth engine. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will design, instrument, and execute demand campaigns that directly contribute to the success of the growth funnel. You will be responsible for the strategy, budget allocation, and technical infrastructure required to convert brand awareness into predictable revenue. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Campaign Orchestration: Design and lead multi-channel growth programs using SEM/paid social (Google, LinkedIn), content syndication, webinars, and high-touch events.

  • Full Funnel Ownership: Audit and optimize the “leaky bucket.” You will help optimize full-funnel conversion paths, including landing pages, nurture flows, webinar sequences, and retargeting, by identifying gaps, launching tests, and executing improvements that drive measurable results.

  • Sales Partnership: Partner closely with Sales to ensure timely and effective follow-up on high-priority leads, event participants, and target accounts. Monitor lead quality and collaborate on targeting, messaging, and follow-up strategies to ensure a smooth lead-to-opportunity handoff.

  • Database Growth: Develop and scale contact acquisition strategies aligned to our ICPs, with a focus on building a high-quality, targetable database. Partner with RevOps to ensure proper segmentation, enrichment, and ongoing database health.

  • Data Analysis & Experimentation: Drive predictable pipeline growth by continuously analyzing campaign, funnel, and performance data to identify conversion bottlenecks. Lead a rigorous A/B testing framework (from landing pages to CTAs) and implement improvements. You don't just report data; you provide actionable insights that optimize our tactics and inform on strategy. 

  • Budget & ROI Management: Manage the demand gen budget, optimizing spend based on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV) targets.

  • 4–6+ years of experience in B2B Demand Generation or Growth Marketing.

  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation (HubSpot or Marketo), including program building and segmentation. 

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, including reporting, pipeline tracking, and identifying data or process issues.

  • Experience building and running webinar or virtual event programs that drive engagement and qualified leads

  • Proven experience generating pipeline through integrated campaigns and programs that deliver measurable results

  • Testing Rigor: Proven track record of using testing that results in measurable conversion  improvements

  • Analytical Savvy: Ability to translate complex data sets into executive-level reporting (MQLs, SQLs, Pipeline Influence, and ROI).

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to partner with our Account Executives (AEs) and Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) to drive technical wins across North America. You'll be the trusted technical advisor to developers, SDETs, and engineering/QA leaders, translating complex testing challenges into compelling solutions using Applitools to deliver real business outcomes.

You'll own technical discovery, solution architecture, product demonstrations, and POVs for our mid-market and enterprise prospects at some of the world's most innovative companies.

What You'll Do

Pre-Sales & POVs

  • Lead technical discovery to uncover testing challenges, CI/CD requirements, and success criteria

  • Deliver tailored demos across website, web application and native mobile for codeless/codefull use cases that highlight our differentiation

  • Provide technical assistance during trials, architect and manage POVs with clear success criteria; document wins and ROI

  • Handle technical objections and competitive positioning alongside AEs, ISRs

Sales Process and Post-sales handoffs

  • Present to technical audiences (VPs of Engineering, QE Directors and QE practitioners)

  • Create solution architectures and technical proposals as needed

  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar, and API testing

  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks, website, web app, native mobile app architectures, and UI/UX functionality, conformity, consistency challenges

Technical Skills

This is a strategic DevRel role focused on:

This is a highly technical leadership and evangelism role, not a community moderation role. 

What You’ll Do

Lead AI Testing Thought Leadership (Primary Focus)

  • Represent Applitools at conferences, webinars, podcasts, and industry events
